Northern Plains Dance- Light, Bright & Clean

Every organization has a "honey-do" list. Ours just happens to include dance floors, prop closets, and hundreds of tiny details that help keep a busy arts organization running. Before the school year begins, Northern Plains Dance needs a little extra muscle to tackle the projects that never seem to make it to the top of the to-do list. Light bulbs need changing. Paint needs touching up. Dance studios need a deep clean. Shelves need hanging. Props need organizing. Storage rooms need taming. If it has been sitting on our "we'll get to that eventually" list, chances are it will be waiting for you on August 12. While none of these projects are glamorous, they are essential to creating a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment for the hundreds of students, audience members, and community participants who use our facility each year. It's our annual reminder that arts organizations don't run on applause alone. Sometimes they run on step ladders, paint rollers, vacuum cleaners, and a group of people willing to spend a few hours helping us get ready for the year ahead. In short: it's our honey-do list. And honey, we're grateful.
