The Banquet

The Banquet is a free community meal located at Trinity Lutheran Church.  We have local churches, organizations, businesses, groups purchase the food, cook the food, and they bring volunteers to serve the food.  We feed the hungry, lonely and hurting in our community with caring hands.  We will also be promoting physical and financial well-being through referral services.

We record how many adults, seniors and children come through our doors.  Our records indicate that approximately 15% of those attending are children, 45% are adults and 40% are elderly over 60 years of age.  With The Banquet having hosts that continue to book the 141 yearly meals and new hosts wanting to support and host a meal it shows that the community wants to be involved in a significant way.

The Banquet free community meal offerings are served to any and all guests that arrive at our doors - no one is turned away and there are no prerequisites to come and enjoy the free, well-balanced meal.  Our goal is to serve the hungry, hurting and needy in our community with compassion and caring.
