Volunteers are needed to help build three 3'x4' weatherproof garden boxes that would have wheels to relocate between growing and winter season storage. This project will grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and peas for BECEP students and Richholt community neighbors to take care of, harvest and consume. This project will support BECEP's overall vision to support parents in their role as their child's first and most important teachers. The mission of BECEP is to develop and maintain meaningful partnerships with families in their home communities. Through these partnerships, we strive to enhance each child's ability to reach his or her potential, academically and emotionally.
**Required Skills: general carpentry skills along with knowledge and ability to safely operate power tools
