Help with the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!
On Saturday, May 10, the National Association of Letter Carriers, in partnership with MSA United Way, will hold the 31st Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The collected food helps to supply local food pantries and United Way’s Backpack Program which ensures local children are fed over the weekends and when school is out of session.
Letter carriers will be collecting the nonperishable food items during their delivery routes alongside United Way volunteers. Bags filled with nonperishable food can be placed next to mailboxes on Saturday, May 10.
This volunteer group will help the letter carriers pick-up the food along their routes and bring the food donations to the sorting facility (403 S Airport Rd, Bismarck). You will meet them on their routes with your car and drive alongside side them. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together!
If you would like, you can sign-up for the following one or two sorting shifts (1:00pm-3:30pm or 3:30-6pm) as well for a full day of volunteering!
